Sydney – what a place! More my scene.  No other building on earth looks like the Sydney Opera House but I found the inside a little disappointing.  There are many concert halls but it’s all a bit bland but the area surrounding it, The Quays, has lovely restaurant and is very buzzy.

I took a trip to the Blue Mountains, now a UNESCO World Heritage Site.  The mountains are named after the blue haze caused by light striking the eucalyptus oil particles in the air. It was a great day.

I also liked shopping at the Queen Victoria Building which has lots of fashion and lovely coffee shops. It looks a bit like the Burlington Arcade in London but much bigger.
