Halloween
Halloween is thought to have roots in Christian beliefs and practices. The name Halloween comes from “All Hallows Eve” being the evening before the Christian holy day All Saints Day which is 1st of November and All Souls Day on 2nd November. Halloween costumes are modelled after figures such as vampires, ghosts, skeletons and scary looking witches. The pumpkins came later.
